But your product development strategy and/or your creative and marketing departments require you to keep this color, which represents the identity of your brand on its market.
By exploiting one of the components of color intelligence, we modulate and control the optical response of a material (of a matrix).
The teams of our R&D laboratory will first characterize the color, then break it down into physical properties of spectral distribution of wavelengths, opacity, brightness, etc. Then, we recreate the material by molecular engineering. It is thus possible to recreate the identical “color” of the matrix.

Optimize the functionality of a product

To optimize the light fastness of a product (matrix), we will first study the degradation processes using our equipment: accelerated ageing chambers, climatic chambers, etc. The analysis of these data will enable us to identify the solution. Then, we rethink the design of the material to optimize the new article: i.e. modify the pigment, propose a matrix and/or add additives to block the photodegradation process.
To enhance the luminescent properties of a product, we need to rethink the photochemical cascade involved during the excitation and relaxation processes. We adjust the respective positions of the various excited states to optimize the fluorescence and/or phosphorescence quantum yields as well as the day and night color rendering. This approach is performed at the pigment scale but also within the matrix for maximum optimization.
