OliKrom participates in the 6th edition of the “FORUM INNOVATION” of the DGA

The Direction Générale de l’Armement (DGA) organized, for the 6th consecutive year, the “innovation forum” on December 6 and 7.

This event brought together more than 1,500 major players in research and innovation. Initiated in 2012, the “DGA Innovation Forum” has various objectives, the main one being to encourage exchanges around concrete projects proposed by the defense industry. It is also a way to highlight a representative selection of innovative projects supported by DGA.

Material” stand, the ChoCOComp project

The forum is structured around several stands with different themes. OliKrom was invited to present its intelligent coatings developed within the framework of the ChoCOComp project on the “Materials” stand.

ChoCOComp is a public project funded by the French National Research Agency in close collaboration with the DGA. This multi-partner program (academic and industrial) was carried out in collaboration with Airbus Group Innovation. The stakes are a breakthrough innovation in the inspection of composites in aeronautics. Link to the description of the ChoCOComp program of the ANR.

Today, after 48 months of development, the ChoCOComp project is a great success!

The collaboration established between the partners has allowed the project to grow in maturity and to move from the laboratory to the industrial transfer.

OliKrom has developed an intelligent coating that changes color in response to a change in pressure following an impact. This makes it possible to visually detect any impact on a part and thus easily ensure the health of the materials.

During the show, there were numerous exchanges with members of the DGA and industrialists in the field of safety, which confirms that there is no shortage of applications for the technologies developed by OliKrom!
