OliKrom expands its range with VisioKrom®, a visual solution for industrial maintenance

At the Paris Air Show 2025, OliKrom presents a technological breakthrough: VisioKrom®. Developed over five years, VisioKrom® is a colored additive designed to make previously colorless anticorrosion treatments visible. Thanks to this solution, quality controls can now be carried out visually, without the need for complex equipment.

Validated on an industrial scale in partnership with Thales DMS, SECO and L’Électrolyse, VisioKrom® is aimed at the aerospace, rail, automotive and industrial maintenance sectors. It offers a direct alternative to traditional hexavalent chromium treatments, now banned due to their toxicity, while overcoming the limitations of trivalent chromium (Chromium 3+)-based substitutes, which remain invisible to the naked eye.

 

A new patented solution for enhanced quality control and safety

With VisioKrom®, OliKrom confirms its ability to translate complex industrial challenges into practical, environmentally-friendly solutions that are easy to integrate into production lines. This new colored additive enables operators to immediately verify the correct application of a treatment, thus reinforcing the traceability, safety and reliability of treated parts.

Following on from the success of its LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint, deployed in over 150 local authorities to improve the safety of soft mobility, OliKrom once again demonstrates the relevance of its model based on applied molecular engineering. VisioKrom® is part of a performance and eco-design approach, in line with the expectations of major industrial clients and new environmental regulations.
