From June 16 to 22, 2025, OliKrom had the pleasure of taking part in the Paris-Le Bourget International Aerospace Show, a strategic event for all players in the sector. For a whole week, our team was on hand to present our intelligent color-change materials, at the heart of today's technological challenges in aeronautics.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Here's a look back at an event marked by dynamism, quality exchanges and promising partnership prospects.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A week of intense exchanges and inspiring encounters<\/h2>\n

Between meetings, demonstrations and technical exchanges, this 2025 edition proved particularly interesting for our team. All week long, our stand was a place of exchange, conducive to many promising discussions. Many visitors confirmed the growing interest in our innovative solutions in the industrial sector.<\/p>\n

Our OliKrom stand welcomed over 200 visitors throughout the show<\/strong>, with a particularly strong turnout on the days reserved for professionals. Among them: major aeronautical contractors, civil & defense manufacturers<\/strong>, and representatives of the DGA and the French Ministry of the Armed Forces<\/strong>, who came to discover our innovations.<\/p>\n

A number of concrete projects are already under discussion, notably in the fields of safety coatings, thermochromic solutions for predictive maintenance, and color-change materials for embedded applications.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

\"\u00a0 It was a trying week, but a very satisfying one, both in terms of the quantity and quality of the exchanges we had on site. The Paris Air Show was a real booster of visibility and contacts. The richness of the exchanges and the interest expressed in our technologies far exceeded our expectations. This definitely confirms the interest shown by manufacturers in OliKrom's expertise and the diversity of applications for our color-changing products. <\/em><\/p>\n

Our new innovation in the spotlight: VisioKrom\u00ae colored additive<\/h2>\n

Among the new products presented at the Paris Air Show, VisioKrom\u00ae<\/strong> was the star of our stand. Our innovative solution, developed over the last five years in our laboratories in Pessac, meets a crucial need: to make colourless anti-corrosion treatments visible and traceable<\/strong>. These are now used to replace yellow chromium VI treatments, which have been banned for ecological and health reasons.<\/p>\n

VisioKrom\u00ae is a coloured additive added directly to existing treatment baths. On application, the part takes on a slight visible coloured tint, guaranteeing immediate visual verification<\/strong> of the entire treated surface, without altering anti-corrosion performance, conductivity or compliance with environmental and health standards.<\/p>\n

This patented technology, already validated on an industrial scale by Thales DMS, SECO (Aegis Plating) and L'Electrolyse, was officially launched at the show. It represents a major step forward for the aerospace, defence, rail, automotive and industrial maintenance industries, enabling greater traceability, fewer rework operations and optimised quality control.<\/p>\n

On the stand, VisioKrom\u00ae attracted the attention of a large number of manufacturers, who were won over by its ease of use and tangible benefits: productivity gains, process security and ease of inspection. This enthusiasm reinforces our position as a pioneer in intelligent materials and non-destructive testing, and paves the way for large-scale deployment after the show.<\/p>\n

In addition to the obvious interest shown by the manufacturers and other players present at Le Bourget 2025, our participation also aroused considerable media interest<\/strong>. A number of specialist journalists - from the technical, economic and scientific press - stopped by our stand to find out about our technologies, interview our teams and understand the contribution our intelligent materials can make to the major challenges<\/strong> facing the aerospace industry.<\/p>\n

Jean-Fran\u00e7ois L\u00e9tard, founder and chairman of OliKrom, was able to talk directly to a large number of media representatives who had come to find out about our innovations, in particular the launch of VisioKrom\u00ae<\/strong>. These discussions highlighted our vision of a smarter, safer and more sustainable industry, based on disruptive technologies developed by French research.<\/p>\n

Several articles are in preparation or have already appeared, highlighting our expertise in surface treatment, visual safety and industrial co-development. This media coverage boosts our visibility both nationally and internationally, and underlines the relevance of our approach in a sector undergoing major change.<\/p>\n
